Introducing our new members
Exciting things are happening at Statement Images. After our recent call for new members we are pleased to announce three new members will be joining the collective. The successful candidates chosen were Daniel Patrick Lilley, Alessandro Marchi, and Paris Visone.
Daniel Patrick Lilley
Daniel Patrick Lilley is a portrait and editorial photographer based in the UK. He is currently completing a degree in Commercial Photography at Arts University College Bournemouth. He has already completed several personal projects on subjects ranging from professional wrestlers to the inhabitants of the Isle of Portland in Dorset. In 2011 his work was included in the Foto8 Summer show held at Host Gallery in London, UK.
Alessandro Marchi is a documentary photographer from Italy. His interest in photography began at the age of 10 with the gift of a camera from his father. Since then he has travelled extensively and completed bodies of work in Turkey, Kazakhstan and Italy. He is currently working on a project in Norway, where he also documents the jazz music scene in the Stavanger area. His work was included in the 2011 Format Festival held in Derby, UK.
Paris Visone is documentary photographer based in Boston, MA, USA. She was a graduate of the Art Institute of Boston where she now teaches. In 2010 she received the Getty Images Editorial Photography Grant for her series “Gender Roles and Appearance”. Recently she toured with, and photographed the legendary punk/new wave band, Blondie. Her project work has also been featured in Rangefinder Magazine, AMP Magazine, and DayFour Magazine.
We look forward to featuring the work of these exciting additions to the Statement roster in the coming weeks and months. We would like to once again thank everyone who took the time to apply to join Statement Images.
