Statement

After leaving my full time job (as a news photographer) in summer 2009 I sold off most of my cameras to fund an entirely different lifestyle when I decided to play in a band full-time. By Russell Bates

Paris Visone is documentary photographer based in Boston, MA, USA. She was a graduate of the Art Institute of Boston where she now teaches. In 2010 she received the Getty Images Editorial Photography Grant for her series "Gender Roles and Appearance". Recently she toured with, and photographed the legendary punk/new wave band, Blondie.
