I agree with you - Exactly what we have discussed about, and we feel it's got more scope than whats shown. More so out side the competition environment.
It wasn't the best location and lighting for ballroom (TERRIBLE), and the age range was extremely difficult to feel comfortable in. Which is a big part of photography and video..if you don't connect with the subject, you tend to back off a little bit more. I'm a little bit to blame for that, as I did most of the filming. Mark and James were trying to get the best out of the stills and could only help out the best they could.

I think it's something, rather than nothing out of a bad situation. Some influence in style from The Dealer leader by Chris Morris, but that was just to get something 'unusual' and NOT the 'usual'.

An interesting piece, music choice is spot on. Liked the start in particular, the way it stirs to life/focus.
Would have liked to have seen a little more of it. Some great individual shots (the judge, the girl readying herself, some of the members of the crowd), so perhaps more and/or closer people closeups if anything.

I was immersed in the event from the opening scene by some excellent camera work and editing. The music was also perfectly measured, very enjoyable.
